Apple invested $1 billion for video content streaming

Apple iPhone creator is now expanding its business to the entertainment world. A report said that Apple is planning to reveal its own hosted TV shows. Apple is the biggest smartphone seller now moving towards the entertainment from technology.

Apple planned to invest $1 billion for video content streaming to compete with the big video content producers like Netflix and Amazon.

Report said that Apple have already built a team based on Los Angeles for the videos streaming production. The team will be lead by two ex-Sony Pictures execs Jamie Erlicht and Zack Van Amburg.

Erlicht said: “It will be an honor to be part of the Apple team. We want to bring to video what Apple has been so successful with in their other services and consumer products — unparalleled quality.”

Van Amburg added: “Apple has a relentless focus on delighting customers with their products. We will bring that same intention to Apple’s programming and we could not be more excited about what lies ahead,” according to a report on Deadline Hollywood.

Where can watch Apple TV shows

Well answer to this question are you can watch Apple shows on Apple music , Apple TV and iTunes. The shows will be subscription base . Which means you need to pay for per shows or per episode. It is also saying that Apple might partner with Netflix.

The shows that are currently live are available for Apple Music subscribers for £9.99 a month. You can also sign up for a free trial for three months.

For years there have been many rumours that Apple may work with the network distribution for original video content streaming. It might soon become reality.
